Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation at Sacred Hearts Parish

Teens seeking the sacrament of confirmation at Sacred Hearts are encouraged to read the letter below for information regarding the age change implemented in 2024 by the Archdiocese of Boston. Formerly 10th grade, confirmation is now offered to teens in 8th grade. Students at Sacred Hearts School receive confirmation preparation during school hours. Students in our Faith Formation Program can expect to focus on confirmation preparation their 8th grade year (and high school students if needed) , and you can register here at the beginning of each fall. Email Jillian Noonan for information.

Adults 18+ who are seeking the sacrament of confirmation are invited to participate in our OCIA program or in our regional adult confirmation preparation class. Details for both of those programs can be found here. To register for OCIA or adult confirmation, email Dr. Elizabeth Woodard, pastoral associate.
